What we do.
Animation Alley is our own community of artists featuring an exhibition of work from our students for you to see as well as an area for yourselves to explore the world of animation. We will have competitions that anyone can enter, we will upload short tutorials and projects for you to join in.
Animation Alley encourages creative artists to explore your creative flair and introduce you to the world of animation.
Degree Courses
We run BA and MA animation degree course at The University of Central Lancashire, in Preston. Our dedicated team of lecturers all continue to practise their profession and teach students all they need to know to make it in the media industry, whether it be animation and film making, advertising, model making etc.
University of Central Lancashire Animation Degree Course
Our award-winning Animation degree covers stop motion, 2D animation and 3D digital animation that will help you develop the practical skills and technical expertise you need to create your own film by the end of the course. You will be encouraged to express your own creativity and ideas and thanks to our close links with employers, there’s the chance to work on ‘live’ projects from industry so that you know your skills are relevant – taught by industry professionals who all currently work in their specialist areas will guide you to create a professional body of work that puts you in line with industry demand for which UCLan is one of only few institutions in the country to have a tailor-made programme that suites you.
