Love Me Like You Wanna Be Loved

A love letter to the city of Liverpool from myself, a born-and-bred Liverpudlian, this project takes the form of a music video for Love Me Like You Wanna Be Loved by Red Rum Club. The video follows a group of animated friends as they journey across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside region, blending animation with real footage of iconic locations and lesser-known local spots.

Throughout the video, viewers are taken through landmarks such as The Beatles Statue at the Pier Head, the Mersey Ferry, and Liverpool Chinatown, while also highlighting hidden gems like Crosby Beach. By combining personal nostalgia, local culture, and vibrant visuals, the project celebrates the identity, spirit, and community that make Liverpool such a unique and meaningful place to call home.
