Last year I created a 2-minute film that I really enjoyed making, this year I decided to make another for my major project. This time around I wanted a challenge, so I used a render engine I wasn't used to that took much longer to render but had better results. I also wanted to explore a story based around water as it tends to look nice in the render engine and I hadn't yet used water in any of my projects. Along with the water I wanted to have expressive cartoon characters that lip synced to dialogue as all my films previously had been silent, I just wanted a project that explored all the aspects I missed out on to end my time at university.
