My short film, Only Now, is about a woman, named Alex, and her robot companion Dante. It is set in an apocalyptic wasteland without any plant life. Alex is seriously sick and needs a specific seed to stay alive. After using up most of the world's supply and being unable to find anymore after scanning the wasteland, the two travel by plane to search for these seeds without much success. Alex is becoming more and more desperate for this seed, taking more risks to survive, putting both herself and Dante at risk. The film is shot in stop-motion with added 2D elements and backgrounds, mixing the two styles.
